Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Auto Repair IQ ("the Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Site.

2. Nature of Our Content

Auto Repair IQ provides estimated automotive repair costs based on aggregated labor rate data, manufacturer pricing information, and regional cost factors. All figures presented are estimates for informational purposes only and do not constitute a quote, guarantee, or binding price from any repair shop, mechanic, or service provider. Actual costs will vary based on your vehicle's condition, the specific shop you choose, parts availability, and other factors.

3. No Professional Advice

Content on this Site is for general informational purposes only and should not be considered professional automotive, mechanical, or financial advice. Always consult a licensed mechanic or repair shop before making repair decisions.

4. Affiliate Disclosure

Auto Repair IQ is free to use. We may earn commissions on qualifying purchases or referrals made through links on this Site, at no additional cost to you where that applies.

We participate in the Amazon Associates Program (Amazon search links with our associate tag) and the Commission Junction (CJ) affiliate network (partner merchant links on some cost pages). CJ link blocks may load small tracking pixels (1×1 images from CJ domains) for network reporting when those blocks are displayed. See our Privacy Policy for more detail.

As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases. We link to products and services we believe may be relevant to the repair topics on each page.

5. Accuracy of Information

While we strive to provide accurate and up-to-date cost estimates, we make no warranties or representations as to the completeness, reliability, or accuracy of this information. Any reliance you place on such information is strictly at your own risk.

6. Limitation of Liability

Auto Repair IQ shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site or reliance on any information provided herein.

7. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
